Horndiplomat- Somaliland president Muse Bihi Abdi received in his office a high level delegation led by EU Ambassador to Somalia Amb. Nicolás Berlanga Martinez.
The two sides Discussed issues pertaining to strengthening the close partnership, the EU funded development projects in Somaliland, the preparation of holding upcoming parliament and local council elections.
On October 8, The EU Ambassador to Somalia Amb. Nicolás Berlanga Martinez and his delegation Visited to Berbera and held talks with Berbera Mayor Abdishakur Mohamed Idin.
“Visit to the Mayor of Berbera. Impressed by the commitment and anticipation from a young team around the Mayor. EU, with UN Habitat as implementing partner, will be launching 7,5 mill € for improving planning and services in Berbera.”Amb Berlanga said on Twitter
Meanwhile, The EU Ambassador to Somalia also met with Somaliland Foreign Minister Yasin Haji Mohamoud and Head of Supreme court Adem Haji Ali, discussed on development areas, democracy, rule of law and the EUCAP technical assistance to Somaliland Coast Guard.
