Somalia Announces 34 New COVID-19 Cases, Three Deaths

Somalia has announced 34 new Covid-19 cases, three deaths and 17 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Somalia’s Minister of Health and Social Care, in her daily briefing, said that 27 of the new cases are from Mogadishu and its environs (Banadir region) while seven are from the semi-autonomous region of Puntland. Twenty six are male while eight are female. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Somalia has reached 756, the death toll is 35 and 61 patients have so far recovered from the disease.
