International disability peoples day coloration in Somalia
On 3 December 2023 number of event is held in Somalia for the celebration of the international day for the disabled people. The events were organized by different institutions, local DPOs, International NGOs and government institutions. The disability section of the ministry of the health care federal government organize event in Mogadishu with cooperation of the DPOs and Hospital.
The celebration of the international day for the disabled people event held at Afrik Hotel KM4 Mogadishu participated more than 80p persons invited from the CSOs, the DPOs. International NGOs and federal government ministries the people participated in the event made speech and contribution mainly touching the day.
Dr. Salman said international disability people’s day is unintentional day for 1.3 billion who have nor role in the society in many countries. This year the theme inclusion the health care the goal four of the SDG 2030 the disability is not something that can be underestimated its widely in the society the children, youth and mostly the aging people. We stand with them today for protection and care.
Dr Naciim from the WHO said this day is for 1.3 billion in the world in Somalia we do not have official recuses but there some insight of intervention in assessment and report for health we made. Lastly the universal health care guide made jointly the WHO and the ministry of health. There are more

Dr. Ibrhaim from disability habilitation center ICRC Somalia said we are pleased to participate this day. The disability people need habilitation and assistive technology that we can help the movements. We serve many people every in the last decades
Mr. Ismail from the disability people said I thank to the all participants in this event. I am member Somali disability network. I am professional lap technician. We want work for the support for the disability people. I request the ministry to give hand the disability people.

We thank and great to the all participants of the event, the deputy minister, the directors, CSOs the hospital and the members from the DPOs. The PWDs in the world is 1.3 billion. In Somalia there are progress made in some areas. And some without progress. There is disability draft bill that needs amendment. And the national disability health care and prevention of disability is important.
The Mrs. Maryan the deputy minister said I thank to the all participants of the event. The days is an international so we should campaign for them participation in every work. Access for immunization, health care and free barriers in the public and private building. We accept the developmentS health care policy for disability. We have unity for the disability in the minister.
