Somalia disability cluster conducted community outreach and awareness training for the CRPD in Mogadishu. The workshop is organized by the CBR Somalia network giving particular attention the mother with children to learn more about the CRPD. The training is coordinated by Somalia disability cluster, implemented by CBR Somalia Network and supported by the UNSOM human rights protection working group office.
On Saturday 02 November 2019 Somalia disability cluster conducted community outreach and awareness training for the CRPD in Mogadishu. The workshop is organized is organized SAFDI Somali Association Female disabilities giving particular attention the mother with children to learn more about the CRPD. The training is coordinated by Somalia disability cluster, implemented by SAFDI and supported by the UNSOM human rights protection working group office.
This is part of the work for implementation of the CRPD the convention rights persons with disabilities which Somalia joined the year 2019 signed by the cabinet, parliament and president. This convention will give hand Somalia disabled people claim their universal rights in public and private.
Somalia disability people cluster goal is the coordination of the CRPD implementation in the country through mass training and implementation as well as monitoring the violations of the CRDP in the country
