Mogadishu – The administration of Somalia’s Transitional Federal Government (TFG) has on Wednesday held a press conference in the capital Mogadishu to discuss the security situation in the capital.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical staff working in the city of Mogadishu have welcomed victims who are currently dealing with their injuries.

Mogadishu Mayor Omar Mohamud Mohamed (Omar Filish) said the terrorists massacred innocent people today.

Most of the casualties were students at Banadir University, and the number of students was reported to be about 30.

Turkish engineers and policemen were also among those killed in the blast at a tax center near the intersection.

However, the explosion at the Ex Control Afgoye intersection is estimated to be similar to that at the Zoobe intersection, in terms of the size of the site of the explosion.
