Djibouti President arrives in Mogadishu

President Ismail Omar Gelle of Djibouti heading a high-level delegation has just arrived in Mogadishu & was welcomed by the president of Somalia, H.E Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, members from the two houses of the Parliament & Mogadishu residents at Aden Adde Airport.

 

The Bands from the Somali National Army played the national anthem of each nations. The President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Gelle has received military guard of honour upon his arrival at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu for a two-day visit before he was taken to the Presidential Palace.

During his visit in Somalia, both leaders will hold meeting to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual benefit including regional security, trade and culture.

Djibouti and Somalia maintain close brotherly relations owing to their shared ethnic and demographic composition.
