Reports indicate that the explosion occurred near the security checkpoint of the Somali presidential palace, near the site of the Lord’s death that killed government officials.
The casualties of the blast are increasing.
Among those killed in the blast are Bile Ismail Dirie, director of finance and finance, Abdirashid Sharaar, an adviser to the Office of the Speaker of the House.
There are also officials and others injured in the blast, which is being treated at some of Mogadishu’s hospitals.
Banadir regional administration spokesman Salah Dheere said three people were killed in the blast and six others were injured in the blast.
