Prime Minister of the Republic, Mr. Hassan Ali chaired the meeting agenda looga line with the coordination of the Famous and demonstrations attended by ambassadors from the countries friends of Somalia, aid agencies, UN officials and the President of Puntland.
President of Puntland, Said Abdullahi Deni, gave a detailed report on the current situation, and the type of emergency assistance that is currently needed.
Mr. Hassan Ali Khayre, speaking on the importance of dealing with situations like this, called on international agencies and friends in Somalia to help the people of Gardo to restore normalcy.
The Prime Minister thanked the international community for its continued support, as well as the people of Puntland, especially for the solidarity and urgency of the people of Qardho during the floods.
