Somali FM Discusses Advancing Bilateral Relations with Chinese Ambassador
Mogadishu, April 17, 2025 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, received on Thursday, in his office at the Ministry in the capital Mogadishu, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Wang Yu, and discussed with him ways to further deepen the longstanding diplomatic relations and broaden the scope of constructive cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The meeting covered a range of topics of mutual interest, including preparations for the upcoming celebration on December 14 to mark the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, reflecting decades of friendship, solidarity, and shared priorities, and also touched on ongoing collaboration in various areas of common concern.
