The leaders of Galmudug, Jubaland, Hirshabelle and South West states have left Dhusamareb for Garowe to attend the funeral of former Puntland state president Mohamed Abdi Hashi who died recently in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. Puntland president Said Abdullahi Deni had earlier left to spearhead preparations for the funeral of the former state leader.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire is also expected to travel to Garowe tomorrow to attend the funeral of former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Abshir Farah. Farah died in a hospital in Turkey. The leaders will return to Dhusamareb, capital of Galmudug state, for the expected conference between the federal government leaders and regional states presidents.
