Heavy airstrikes have taken place in the Lower Shabelle and Middle Juba regions, targeting military officials, including foreign nationals, and fighters from the Al-Shabaab group
The strikes also targeted a facility where Al-Shabaab militants were preparing large explosives.
Among the areas affected by the strikes was Haway, located in the Lower Shabelle region, where a group of Al-Shabaab militants, carrying large explosives intended for Mogadishu, was targeted.
Additionally, in Sablaale, an airstrike killed foreign officials who were planning attacks in the Middle Shabelle region for Al-Shabaab.
Xaramka is also one of the sites of these airstrikes, where Al-Shabaab was preparing large explosive devices.
In the town of Arbacoow, the airstrikes targeted foreign fighters from Al-Shabaab, including security officials and key individuals vital to the group’s operations.
Recently, airstrikes against military officials, militia leaders, and major Al-Shabaab facilities have been intensifying, causing significant damage to the group.
