Airstrike in Somalia Kills scores of Al-Shabaab militants

Fresh reports are emerging following a significant attack last night in the Kuunya-barow District of the Lower Shabelle region.

The attack was carried out by warplanes, and four missiles were targeted at a meeting place of senior officers of Al-shabab fighters.

Government officials have confirmed that more than 70 Al-shabab fighters were killed in the attack, while more were injured.

The members who died in the bombing include Julaybib Al-Muhajir from Kenya, Abdifitah from Sudan, Abu Shishani from Yemen and Abu Khalid who is Somali and has the citizenship of another country.
