The first Somalia female disability candidate parlimentry election
Mss. Amina announced her commitment to join Somalia legislation the election 2021 I Somalia for the house of the people. Amina is young female with first degree from the public health, the founder of SAFDI Somalia Association Disability Female, former chairlady of the CBR Somalia Community Based Rehabialtion network, member of the National Disability council, secretary for the SDN Somali Disability Network, deputy chairperson SDC Somali Disability Cluster, facilitator HI training CRPD and member women political participation coordinating team .
Mss. Amina expressed her motivation behind the participation of the legislation. She told that she was list of the candidate selected and nominated National Disability Agency baud. Where she suffer corruption after she was terminated from the list unofficial by the incumbent ministry of the women ad human rights Mrs. Hanifa Mohamed Ibrahim an MP in the house of the people member the committee foreign and international cooperation.
Mss. Amina told the media several time she has made complaint to the corruption against her membership in the national disability agency board. She was forced to be silent with violations of her rights. She was also blackmailed not speak for the corruption for member if the her colleague. She also was advised to wait the participation of the 10 executive for the national disability agency who are finally suspected to be employed non-disabled people from the family of the ministry and the directors of the MWHR.
Mss. Amina with more than 8 years’ experience human rights advection and disability gender employment in Somalia. took the decision to make political level in the legislation where she may protect the rights of the innocent victim of the power abuse from the some placations and member in the parliament and cabinet.
Mss. Amina told that she has dump founded when she meet such this power abuse against female girl with disability who came out of 15 year of education learning challenge to make true her dream. She was also very hopeful to enjoyed the support of the female politician in the legislation and cabinet as female persons. Unfortunately, she become victim of female politician and legislation.
Mss. Amina finally wake up to take a position for her work human rights activist and gender disability empowerment actor. Through politician level if she win the candidate of the parliamentary election 2021. She asked support from the Somalia traditional elders, merchants, political parts, women politicians, international community, civil society, the prime minister and the president of Somalia Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo
